Campus overview

When you think about private healthcare, you’d be right to expect certain things: first-class service, beautiful surroundings, caring staff, and of course immediate access. Our London Bridge Hospital campus delivers on every one of these expectations.

Spread over three main buildings and five outpatients centres you’ll find contemporary inpatient rooms, chemotherapy suites, physiotherapy gyms and remarkable theatres where operations at the forefront of medicine take place every day. We invest in the latest technologies to enhance our team’s capabilities and allow us to offer treatment built on extraordinary insight and the utmost accuracy.

Whether a patient is meeting their radiographer for an X-ray, discussing the latest treatment in stem cell transplantation or recovering from hip replacement surgery, all our sites share integrated services giving patients access to a seamless experience: from outpatients to day case and inpatient stays.

London Bridge Hospital

At 27 Tooley Street overlooking the Thames, London Bridge Hospital is home to the majority of inpatient care, with six theatres, three cardiac Catheter Labs, 16 intensive care beds, three inpatient wards with 150 bedrooms, and the full range of diagnostic imaging services. A number of consulting rooms and supporting services are also found in St Olaf House, adjacent to the main hospital building, and Emblem House, opposite.

Private Care at Guy's

Part of the London Bridge Hospital campus is Private Care at Guy's, our state-of-the-art cancer centre situated on the top four floors of Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust. The centre makes a strong connection between private healthcare and the NHS. Specialties include haematology, oncology, urology, gynaecology, breast surgery and our Head, Neck and Thyroid Centre.

Our main outpatient and diagnostics centre occupies three lower floors of The Shard. This beautiful, calming environment has a private entrance, 78 consulting rooms, 12 private treatment rooms and a state-of-the-art physiotherapy gym. It offers same-day appointments, rapid diagnosis and treatment, with key specialties including physiotherapy, neurology, One Stop Breast and Gynaecology Clinics, orthopaedics, gastroenterology and ear, nose and throat.

London Bridge Hospital's Urgent Care Centre
London Bridge Hospital Urgent Care Centre

At 29 Tooley Street, we have an Urgent Care Centre for patients with injuries and health concerns that are not life threatening. Walk-in (private) appointments are available with GPs and nurses with experience in emergency medicine for patients over 18 – without an appointment. The average waiting time is just 11 minutes to see a nurse, and shortly thereafter a GP. Most blood tests and other diagnostic tests will be turned around within the hour, with urgent access to imaging available within the main hospital (opposite). We’re able to provide rapid diagnosis and treatment, fast referrals to consultants, and urgent hospital admissions.
