    We offer same-day appointments only, which you can book quickly by phone. Walk-ins are not available.

    Our highly experienced clinical team treat adults and children aged 3 and over in a calm, professional environment, supported by on-site diagnostics and seamless referral pathways if you need specialist care.

    If you’re travelling by car, free patient parking is available in our dedicated car park.

    If you’re arriving by public transport, the nearest train station is Wilmslow, which is an eleven-minute walk from the hospital. If you’re travelling by bus, the 88 stops close by on Alderley Road.

    How much will it cost?

    We want our pricing to be clear and simple.

    You’ll pay for your initial consultation (£120) at the time of your visit. If you need further tests, treatment or scans, we’ll explain any costs before going ahead.

    If you’re using private medical insurance, please check your level of cover with your insurer before attending. We’ll give you an itemised receipt so you can submit a claim where eligible.

    Our unit provides prompt assessment and treatment for non-life-threatening conditions that need attention but don’t require urgent care or A&E. It offers fast access to clinicians, on-site diagnostics and clear onward pathways where needed.

    We assess and treat a wide range of minor injuries and illnesses, including:

    • Minor fractures and broken bones
    • Ear or throat infections
    • Flu symptoms
    • Minor burns and wounds
    • Skin infections and rashes
    • Sports injuries
    • Urinary tract infections

    If you’re unsure whether we can help, please call us and we’ll advise you.

    We don’t treat life-threatening emergencies. Call 999 immediately if you suspect a heart attack, stroke or severe trauma.

    We also cannot treat:

    • Mental health crises
    • Overdose or substance toxicity
    • Pregnancy-related issues 
    • Severe pain or bleeding at any stage of pregnancy
    • Severe burns
    • Severe trauma
    • Anyone under the age of 3

    In some cases, you may be redirected to a more appropriate service.

    No GP registration or referral is required.

    If you choose to share your GP details, we can send a summary of your visit for continuity of care.

    Yes, you’re welcome to bring a friend or family member for support.

    During busy periods, we may need to manage visitor numbers to ensure a safe environment.

    Most patients can be treated directly in the unit. If you need ongoing care, we’ll refer you quickly to specialists within The Wilmslow Hospital or across the wider HCA UK network. We’ll explain all expected costs and next steps clearly.
