What to expect

Care that starts with listening

From the moment you arrive, you'll be welcomed into a calm, private space where you'll be treated with kindness, respect, and discretion. We know that discussing gynaecological health can feel personal, so we take time to put you at ease.

You can speak openly about symptoms, such as pelvic pain, irregular periods or menopause and will have peace of mind that you'll be guided through the next steps with clear explanations and ongoing support.

01

Initial consultation

During your first appointment, you'll discuss your symptoms with your gynaecology consultant so they can gain a clear understanding of your concerns. They'll also talk to you about your medical history and may carry out a pelvic examination if required.

02

Investigations and diagnosis

Based on the initial consultation, your gynaecologist may recommend further diagnostic tests, such as a pelvic ultrasound, blood tests, a cervical smear test or a hysteroscopy to help them make a clear diagnosis.

03

Treatment plan

Your consultant will discuss treatment options. Depending on the diagnosis, treatment may include medication or hormone replacement therapy, surgical options, and symptom monitoring. Supportive care or onward referrals to other specialists may also be offered where appropriate.
