Yes. We continually invest in the latest medical technologies to support our wider commitment to advancing medicine and expanding treatment possibilities for our patients.
In particular, we lead the private sector in robotic-assisted surgery technology. We were the first hospital in the UK to introduce the da Vinci Single Port (SP) system, further developing our minimally invasive robotic-assisted surgery programme.
Our patients also have access to the Ion platform, a breakthrough technology that has transformed the way we diagnose lung nodules.
In addition, the renowned surgeons at London Bridge carry out some of the most technically advanced surgical procedures including living-donor liver transplants, minimal access cardiac surgery and complex cancer surgery.
We provide advanced medical treatments including Autologous Haematopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation (AHSCT) for eligible patients with multiple sclerosis and certain blood cancers. And we’re also a specialist referral centre for Alzheimer’s and dementia, offering access to the newly available treatments, lecanemab and donanemab.
We offer appointments in as little as 24 hours, with access to consultations, diagnostic tests and, if required, onward treatment plans, helping you get answers and support without delay.
For most of our services, we operate by appointment only to ensure timely and efficient care. In many cases, you can be seen by a consultant in as little as 24 hours, depending on availability and the type of service needed.
For non-life-threatening medical conditions, our Urgent Care Centre accepts walk-in patients.
