Dr Lewis Raiman is a Consultant in Sport and Exercise Medicine with expertise in the comprehensive management of musculoskeletal and sports-related injuries. He qualified with an MB BS from the University of London in 2015 and has since developed a strong reputation for delivering evidence-based, non-surgical care tailored to each patient’s goals and lifestyle.
His clinical practice spans the full spectrum of injury, from acute ligament tears, fractures and sprains to longer-term conditions such as osteoarthritis, tendinopathies and bone stress injuries. Dr Raiman has particular expertise in conservative treatment strategies, including ultrasound-guided injections, structured exercise rehabilitation and targeted lifestyle modification. He performs diagnostic ultrasound during consultations and arranges advanced imaging, including MRI and CT scans, to ensure accurate diagnosis.
Working within a multidisciplinary framework, he collaborates closely with physiotherapists, osteopaths and strength and conditioning coaches to design personalised rehabilitation programmes. Alongside his clinical work, Dr Raiman has supported elite sport as Performance Doctor for The Football Association and Academy Doctor at West Ham United FC, and has provided medical cover at the Commonwealth Games. He treats young athletes, professionals and older adults, focusing on restoring function and enabling a safe return to activity.
