An annual health check identified my prostate cancer
In September 2019, John Dean went for his annual health screen - offered as part of his employer Rothschild & Co's health scheme. John was seemingly a fit and healthy 59-year-old with no signs or symptoms that suggested otherwise. However, this health screen prompted further tests, where it was discovered that John had prostate cancer. Hana's recovery: Roaring back from a serious knee injury
Hana was a fearsome player on the pitch, but her commitment came at a price. In 2018 she tore her ACL (anterior cruciate ligament) and was seen by Mr Simon Thompson. He helped her get back to playing at a competitive level and Hana got to wear the England jersey she’d dreamed of. So, when she then suffered a meniscal tear in 2020, she knew who she was going to see.

You can access some elective treatments without a referral. If you get in touch with our enquiries team, we'll talk you through how you can access our treatments and services.
We work with most insurers, so please contact your insurance company to check whether we can provide treatment under your policy. It helps to have your policy number and authorisation code ready when you get in touch. You can also visit our Consultant Finder to search for specialists and filter the results by insurer. If you want to pay for your treatment, please contact our self-pay team on 020 3733 0947. They can talk you through the procedure and the costs involved. Additional tests, treatment and consultant fees are not included in the cost of the procedure. Our team will explain everything clearly before you go ahead.

Yes you can. We offer urgent care with no appointment needed at dedicated walk-in centres across London - all open 365 days a year. You’ll find adult urgent care centres in St John’s Wood, Chelsea, London Bridge and Marylebone, and a specialist paediatric centre at The Portland Hospital, and 94% of patients are seen within 15 minutes.
