Mr Trystan Lewis is a Consultant Upper Gastrointestinal and General Surgeon with a specialist interest in abdominal wall reconstruction, hernia surgery, gallstone disease, and minimally invasive (keyhole) surgery, including robotic techniques.
He is based at Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust, where he established the Epsom Complex Abdominal Wall Unit and helped develop the laparoscopic bile duct exploration service.
He is actively involved in advancing laparoscopic and robotic surgery to improve patient outcomes and recovery. Mr Lewis provides patient centred, evidence based care for both straightforward and complex conditions, and welcomes referrals for hernia surgery, gallbladder disease, and general upper gastrointestinal and abdominal conditions.
