Mr Saleh Okhovat

Mr Saleh Okhovat is a Consultant Rhinologist and Endoscopic Skull Base Surgeon at Cambridge University Hospitals. His tertiary referral practice is built around managing complex and difficult-to-treat nasal and sinus disease, including sinonasal and skull base tumours. Working closely with ophthalmology, neurosurgery and other specialist teams, he manages complex cases involving the nose, sinuses, orbit and skull base, with experience spanning endoscopic sinus surgery, advanced frontal sinus surgery, skull base tumour resections and CSF leak repairs.

He also runs a substantial reconstructive practice, with particular expertise in nasal reconstruction following cancer treatment, complex revision rhinoplasty, and reconstruction for patients with inflammatory conditions such as granulomatosis with polyangiitis (GPA) or cleft-related nasal deformity.

He trained in London and Glasgow before completing an Advanced Fellowship in Rhinology and Endoscopic Skull Base Surgery at the University of British Columbia, Vancouver. He then established and led a tertiary referral service in Scotland as Lead Rhinologist and Anterior Skull Base Surgeon for the West of Scotland, and continues to serve as an Honorary Consultant at the Institute of Neurological Sciences in Glasgow, contributing to selected complex skull base and craniofacial cases.

Beyond his clinical work, he is Fellowship Director for the Cambridge Advanced Rhinology and Anterior Skull Base Fellowship Programme and sits on the Council of the British Society of Facial Plastic Surgery.
