Dr Russell Senanayake is a Consultant Endocrinologist working at Guy's & St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust. He completed medical school at the University of London in 2012. Dr Senanayake’s postgraduate and specialist training were undertaken in Oxford and Cambridge, and academic training undertaken by the University of Cambridge. Over the course of his postgraduate training, Dr Senanayake achieved various qualifications including being awarded a PhD from the University of Cambridge in 2024 where he achieved the Milo Keynes prize for research excellence. He was awarded a MSc in Endocrinology & Diabetes (2017) from Queen Mary's University of London, Postgraduate Diploma in Medical Education (2017) and Membership of the Royal College of Physicians in 2015.
