Razi Zaidi

Mr Razi Zaidi is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon specialising in foot and ankle surgery, practising at King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and The Princess Royal University Hospital. He holds a CCT in Trauma & Orthopaedic Surgery (2021), FRCS (Tr & Orth) and an MD (Res) from UCL focused on total ankle arthroplasty outcomes. He completed prestigious foot and ankle fellowships at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital, Guy's & St Thomas' Hospital and King's College Hospital. His expertise covers total ankle replacement and arthrodesis, foot and ankle trauma, diabetic foot reconstruction, and minimally invasive techniques. A leading researcher with over 25 peer-reviewed publications, he was Principal Investigator on the multi-centre TARVA trial comparing total ankle replacement with arthrodesis, and has been recognised with the BOFAS Chang Chen Award and NIHR HTA funding. He is also a dedicated educator and faculty member on BOFAS and FRCS preparation courses.
