Prof. Venu Kavarthapu is a highly qualified and experienced consultant orthopaedic surgeon with a special interest in Lower Limb Orthopaedic Surgery. He has undergone extensive training in specialized areas such as minimally invasive hip surgery, hip arthroplasty, and foot and ankle surgery.

Prof. Kavarthapu is currently working at King's College Hospital in London, where he runs a regional young adult hip surgery service and heads a nationally recognized multi-disciplinary complex foot surgery service. He is also involved in research and has published several scientific articles in the field of Trauma and Orthopaedics.

Aside from his clinical work, Prof. Kavarthapu is also actively involved in teaching and lecturing both nationally and internationally. He is an Honorary Senior Lecturer at King's College London and an Associate Professor at the University of Southern Denmark. He is also an Associate Editor of the Journal of Clinical Orthopaedics and Trauma and a member of several professional societies, including the British Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society and the International Association of Diabetic Foot Surgeons.
