Dr. Owais Kadwani qualified from University College London Medical School with distinction in Clinical Science. He trained in Respiratory Medicine in the North West London deanery, including The Royal Brompton, Hammersmith, and St Mary's Hospitals. He completed a fellowship in pleural disease at Guys and St Thomas in 2020. He was appointed as a consultant in Respiratory and General Medicine, where he leads the pleural service. He has a sub-speciality interest in thoracic ultrasound, pleural disease, pleural procedures, and bronchoscopy. His other clinical work includes general respiratory, general medicine, and the medical high dependency unit. Dr. Kadwani is a primary investigator in several trials for pleural disease and regularly trains junior colleagues in thoracic ultrasound, pleural interventions, and respiratory disease. He is a member of the British Thoracic Society and the European Respiratory Society.
