There are no waiting lists, so you can get same day appointments for everything from general GP check-ups to specific tests and scans, including MRIs, ultrasounds, blood tests and X-rays. It’s one of the reasons we were rated as Outstanding in our 2023 CQC inspection.
Elstree Waterfront Outpatients is open from 8am to 8pm Monday to Friday, and from 8am to 1pm on Saturdays.
Yes, we do. Our dedicated team of consultants, nurses, radiographers and support staff are here to help you manage your treatment and look after you and your loved ones. Adults can see a GP or a specialist consultant for a wide range of health conditions, and we also have a dedicated Paediatric department with a family-friendly waiting room, and its own separate consultation and treatment rooms.
Yes, you can. If you need a referral to a specialist, you can be seen by one of our renowned consultants from The Wellington Hospital in London. Elstree Outpatients has consultants that cover a full range of specialist care including cardiology, dermatology, neurology, orthopaedics and paediatrics.

Elstree Waterfront Outpatients FAQ
If your baby or child is referred for treatment, they’ll be cared for at The Portland Hospital, the only private hospital in the UK dedicated to treating women and children. If your child is aged between 16-18, they’ll be treated at the Wellington Hospital in St. John’s Wood in North London.
Yes, we do. Independent physiotherapists from Body Balance and Boost Physio can help you with a tailored programme of physical rehabilitation.
Yes, we do. The length of your appointment will depend on which GP you’re seeing, and will be either 15, 30 or 60 minutes long. We’ll ensure you get an appointment that gives you the time you need to discuss your health concerns in detail, and to allow your GP to make an accurate diagnosis.
