Mr. Evans is an experienced Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon specializing in knee disorders. He has performed numerous knee operations, including ACL reconstructions, knee replacements, arthroscopies, and correction of bony deformities (osteotomies). Mr. Evans treats young adults with sports-related knee injuries and older patients with early wear and tear or established knee arthritis. He has been performing knee arthroscopies and knee replacements since 1985.Mr. Evans qualified in 1975 in Cardiff and underwent further training in Liverpool and Edinburgh. He was appointed to the Academic Orthopaedic Unit in Southampton as a Lecturer in 1984 and worked as a Consultant from 1990. He has published numerous papers and book chapters on knee surgery and continues to be actively involved in research and teaching. His notable publications include papers on digital gait analysis, the use of motion sensors in diagnosing early osteoarthritis, and various techniques in knee replacement surgery.
