Mr Baljinder Dhinsa is a highly qualified and experienced Consultant Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgeon. His private practice is currently based at KIMS Hospital in Kent, One Ashford Hospital, Willesborough, Benenden Hospital and London Bridge Hospital. He also serves as a surgeon for the NHS at East Kent Hospitals University NHS Foundation Trust. Mr Dhinsa specialises in all aspects relating to the foot and ankle, which includes bunions, foot pain, ankle pain, ankle arthritis, hind foot arthritis, sports injuries, ligament injuries and cartilage injuries.
Mr Dhinsa graduated with a MBBS degree in 2004 from King’s College London. He continued his medical training at Guy’s, King’s College and St Thomas’ Medical School, after which he attended the Royal Orthopaedic Hospital in Stanmore as a Research Fellow. Mr Dhinsa completed his higher surgical training as part of the South East Thames rotation. His competency in treating sports injuries comes from his training as an Academy doctor at Charlton Athletic Football Club.
Mr Dhinsa is also a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and is a member of a number of professional associations and societies, including the British Medical Association, the British Orthopaedic Association and the British Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society.
He is also actively involved in research and has published widely in the field of orthopaedics. In addition, he often presents his work national and international meetings. Mr Dhinsa also devotes his time to education, being a faculty member for a number of medical courses, training undergraduate students and supervising trainee doctors.
