Jennifer Hu

Miss Jennifer Hu is an oncoplastic and reconstruction breast consultant. Appointed in early 2013 as the lead screening surgeon for the Central and East London Breast Screening Service, she has also served as the clinical lead of breast services. Miss Hu cares for patients with early and advanced breast cancer, undertaking all aspects of resectional and reconstructive breast surgery, including working with plastic surgical colleagues on autologous free flap reconstructions. She graduated from the United Medical and Dental Schools of Guy's and St Thomas' and holds a PhD in the treatment of breast cancer using a novel oncolytic virus. Her specialist interests include counseling and risk-reducing surgery for high-risk patients and revisional reconstructive breast surgery. Her expertise includes breast surgery, breast genetics, and breast cancer.
