Miss Maureen Monda is a Consultant Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgeon. She specialises in adult Knee Pathology. 

Miss Monda undertook specialist orthopaedic training in the North East London Deanery, Percival Pott rotation. On completion of this, she undertook two specialist Knee fellowships. The first was in The Northwest of England with one of the foremost knee osteotomy surgeons in the country. The focus of which was on knee joint preservation procedures. 

The second fellowship was in York focusing on soft tissue knee procedures and all aspects of knee arthroplasty. Miss Monda has a keen interest in research. She has previously undertaken two intercalated research degrees and has published her work in peer review journals. She has also presented at national and international meetings.

Miss Monda’s NHS practice is at Dartford and Gravesham NHS trust. She is the Patient Safety and Clinical Governance lead for Trauma and Orthopaedics at Darent Valley Hospital. She is involved in training junior surgeons in aspects of Knee surgery. Her interests include Knee replacements Total and Partial, Revision knee replacements, Osteotomy about the knee, Knee arthroscopy, meniscal repair and ligament reconstruction.
