Miss Madeleine Tait is a highly skilled and experienced podiatrist, specialising in podiatric biomechanics and musculoskeletal injuries, with a particular focus on sports medicine.
When assessing patients, she uses functional and video gait analysis to evaluate lower-limb movement patterns and accurately diagnose injuries. This is often paired with biomechanical assessments to design custom orthotics that help alleviate damaging forces on injured tissues. Miss Tait is also knowledgeable in both athletic and general footwear, and has a special interest in managing adult-acquired flat foot with Richie Braces (ankle-foot orthoses), allowing her to provide personalised care tailored to each patient’s needs.
She is proficient in managing a wide range of hypermobility, rheumatological, and neurological conditions in both adults and children. Her expertise spans from biomechanical issues to inflammatory diseases affecting the musculoskeletal system, which can often be treated effectively with orthotic therapy. Miss Tait values a multidisciplinary approach and frequently refers patients for rehabilitation programs to enhance their strength and stability.
