Irumee Pai

Miss Irumee Pai is a Consultant ENT Surgeon at Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust in London, specialising in adult ear conditions and hearing implants, including cochlear implantation, endoscopic ear surgery, and middle ear and mastoid surgery.

She completed specialist training across London and South East England and obtained her Certificate of Completion of Training in Otolaryngology in 2013. She subsequently undertook two post-CCT fellowships, one at Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospitals in advanced otology and hearing implant surgery, and another at Monash Medical Centre in Melbourne, Australia, focusing on otology and skull base surgery, before being appointed to her current consultant post in 2014.

Alongside her clinical practice, Miss Pai has a strong research interest and has authored over 50 peer-reviewed publications and three book chapters. She is currently studying part time for a PhD at King’s College London.
