Dr. Tanya Basu is a Consultant Dermatologist with interests in general dermatological problems such as acne, rosacea, eczema, psoriasis, urticaria, benign and malignant skin lesions. She performs mole checks and skin cancer treatment and has a special interest in haemato-oncology and dermatological disorders of haematological disease. She runs a dedicated clinic for patients with graft versus host disease. Dr. Basu has a Natural Sciences MA degree from the University of Cambridge, a PhD in cancer biology with Cancer Research UK, and completed her medical training at Imperial College School of Medicine. She has been awarded various prizes, including the Hugh Wallace RSM Dermatology Prize. Her areas of expertise include mole checks, skin cancer treatment, haemato-oncology, benign and malignant skin lesions, moles, dermatological disorders of haematological disease, graft vs. host disease, acne, eczema, psoriasis, urticaria, and rosacea.
