Dr. Rina Davison has been a consultant for over 20 years, specializing in endocrinology and diabetes. She has a special interest in polycystic ovarian syndrome, female hair loss, hirsutism, pituitary disorders, and thyroid problems. Her research interests include diabetes and thyroid problems in pregnancy. Dr. Davison qualified from St John's College, Cambridge, and trained at Guy's, The Royal London, and UCH hospitals. Her MD thesis researched premature ovarian failure, and she has written numerous papers about polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS). Dr. Davison has held significant positions, including Deputy Medical Director at Barts Health and Clinical Director in medicine. She is a National Clinical Champion for Diabetes UK and has appeared on TV discussing diabetes. Additionally, she is an adviser to the Daily Mail on various health issues, including female hair loss, and has written numerous articles for the newspaper and health sections of women's magazines. Dr. Davison is a member of the Royal College of Physicians, the British Endocrine Society, and Diabetes UK.
