Dr Nemesha Desai is a Consultant Dermatologist with interests in general and medical dermatology, acne, eczema, psoriasis, hidradenitis, skin cancer, moles, and medical education. She completed her medical training with honors at King's College London, specialized in dermatology in London, and gained sub-specialty experience in medical dermatology at the University of Miami. She was awarded CCT dermatology in November 2009. Dr. Desai is a clinical lecturer at King's College London and leads GP education at St. John's Institute of Dermatology. Her clinical service works closely with the Department of Genetics and Molecular Medicine at King's College London, assessing genetic factors in hidradenitis. She has published extensively and is part of a European panel developing clinical guidelines. Her areas of expertise include skin cancer screening, surgery, mole checks and removal, general and medical dermatology, acne, eczema, psoriasis, and hidradenitis.
