Dr Millicent Stone is an expert Consultant Rheumatologist with specialisations in osteoporosis, spondyloarthropathy, and female athlete triad syndrome. She obtained her medical degree in 1991 from the National University of Ireland, before completing her General Internal Medicine and Rheumatology training in Ireland. Dr Stone then went on to complete a Fellowship Training position in Toronto, Canada, where she developed the spondyloarthropathy methodology research therapeutics programme (SMART) for patients with diseased vertebral joints. During this time, she also obtained a degree in Clinical Epidemiology.
Currently, Dr Stone practises in the UK, where she treats patients with general rheumatology, musculoskeletal symptoms, sporting injuries, and specialises in osteoporosis. She has developed screening programs for osteoporosis patients across the UK and Canada. Dr Stone is highly regarded in her field, and her expertise is sought internationally.
