Dr. Mary Wain is a consultant dermatologist specializing in skin cancer and general dermatology. She has been dedicated to dermatology since 2000, completing her training at the St John's Institute of Dermatology, Guy's and St Thomas' Hospitals. She was later appointed as a consultant dermatologist. Dr. Wain earned her medical degree from the United Medical and Dental Schools of Guy's and St Thomas' Hospitals, University of London, in 1997, graduating with honors in five subjects and receiving the college Silver Medal, Medicine Medal, and Surgery Prize. She also obtained a BSc in Physiology with First Class Honors and the college Physiology Prize. After qualifying, she completed postgraduate training in general medicine at St Thomas' and obtained the MRCP. Dr. Wain's research in cutaneous lymphoma earned her an MD from the University of London. Her expertise includes treating eczema, psoriasis, acne, mole checking, mole mapping, mole removal, skin cancer, melanoma, cutaneous lymphoma, and dermatology in organ transplant recipients.
