Deborah Ruddy

Dr. Deborah Ruddy is a Consultant Clinical Geneticist with a specialist interest in adult-onset inherited diseases, particularly cancer syndromes and neurological conditions. She was appointed Head of Service in 2017 and has been part of the consultant team since 2007. Dr. Ruddy manages cases with hereditary susceptibility to cancer, provides cancer risk assessments, and offers genomic counseling and testing. She also runs multidisciplinary clinics for patients with Huntington's Disease, von Hippel Lindau Disease, and inherited psychiatric disorders. Her research interests include Huntington's Disease.
