Dr Satpal Arri is a consultant interventional cardiologist, practicing at St Thomas’ Hospital, London. Dr Arri qualified from Guy’s, King’s and St Thomas’ School of Medicine with distinction in 2006, became a member of the Royal College of Physicians in 2009 and was subsequently awarded a PhD in cardiovascular medicine from King’s College London in 2019.
He undertook specialist training in cardiology and interventional cardiology at King’s College and St Thomas’ Hospitals, London. He also completed an international fellowship in complex coronary and structural heart intervention at the Greenlane Cardiovascular unit in Auckland City Hospital, New Zealand.
Dr Arri is a former BHF Clinical Research Fellow and undertook his PhD in coronary physiology, specifically investigating the effects of mental stress and exercise on the cardiovascular system, at The Rayne Institute, King’s College London.
Dr Arri specialises in complex coronary and structural heart intervention including TAVI, and consults on a wide range of heart conditions including chest pain, breathlessness, palpitations, hypertension, heart failure, valvular heart disease and cardiovascular risk assessment.
