Dr. Sandeep Ankolekar

Dr. Sandeep Ankolekar is an experienced Consultant Neurologist based at Kings' College Hospital, London, and he served as the Clinical Lead for Stroke between 2018-2022.

Dr. Ankolekar specialises in general neurology and provides expert consultations for patients with a wide range of neurological problems including headache, migraine, neuralgias, TIAs and stroke, tremors, tingling and numbness, dizziness, faints and funny turns, seizures and movement disorders.

He has subspecialty interest in Vascular Neurology (stroke and brain blood vessel disorders) and Acute Neurology.

Dr Ankolekar studied medicine at Kasturba Medical College Mangalore in India and underwent his neurology specialty training at the Yorkshire Deanery. He completed his Phd in Stroke Medicine at the University of Nottingham, studying blood pressure and memory and thinking problems in stroke.
