Dr Edroos trained and worked at three of the busiest centres for interventional cardiology in the UK, Ireland and Canada, prior to his current post in Luton & Dunstable University Hospital, where he is the lead for interventional cardiology.
He has formal research training in Leicester, under the supervision of the former medical director of the British Heart Foundation, with work on cardioprotection that received national awards from the National Institute for Health Research and led to being awarded a PhD. He continues to publish and present his work on interventional cardiology internationally.
He is the deputy lead for the Foundation Programme at Luton & Dunstable University Hospital, supervising the training programme for resident doctors within the hospital on the East of England Training Programme. He contributes to training of medical students from University College London Medical School. He also supervises resident registrar doctors specialising in cardiology, and trained in medical education at the University of Cambridge.
