Sabiha is a full-time consultant cardiologist with expertise in sports cardiology, exercise cardiac health, cardiomyopathies, and cardiac MRI. She manages the cardiac health of recreational and competitive athletes, female athletes, and individuals with cardiac conditions who wish to exercise safely. Her research interests include assessing cardiac structural diseases in athletes and young individuals, refining ECG interpretation in athletes, and reducing the risk of sudden cardiac death in the young population. Sabiha is a CRY Cardiologist and an active member of the CRY pre-participation screening programme. She has published peer-reviewed work on mechanisms in Left Ventricular Hypertrabeculation, ECG guidelines in athletes, and cardiac screening in adolescent athletes. She is a board member of the EAPC and the EAPC sports cardiology section nucleus, contributing to ESC guidelines in sports cardiology and exercise in individuals with cardiovascular diseases.
