About

Professor Roman Cregg, Consultant in Pain Medicine and Anaesthesia, currently works within the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery and University College London Hospitals NHS Trusts. He is highly specialised in the treatment of musculoskeletal, neuropathic, chronic or cancer-related pain, as well as the management of acute, chronic and cancer pain.

Professor Cregg completed his training in anaesthesia within several London based hospitals including King's College London, University College London, Chase Farm and Barnet, and the Royal Free Hospitals. He undertook an advanced fellowship in pain medicine at Imperial College London. During his training, he held positions in many high profile hospitals including Chelsea and Westminster, Hillingdon, and The Royal Marsden. He furthered his expertise by undertaking additional training in advanced neuromodulation at Guys' and St Thomas' hospitals and interventional management of headaches at the Cleveland Clinic in the USA.

He works within a multi-disciplinary team that create treatment plans for patients combining minimally invasive interventional, pharmacological, and rehabilitative approaches.
