Prof. Amedeo Chiribiri is a Consultant Cardiologist and the Director of the Cardiac Magnetic Resonance Service as well as a Professor of Cardiovascular Imaging. He qualified in Medicine with honours from the University of Turin in 2001 and undertook specialist training in Cardiology at this university and advanced cardiac imaging and cardiac MRI at the German Heart Institute Berlin. He completed his training in Cardiology in 2006 and obtained a PhD in Experimental Medicine and Human Physiology in 2011. Prof. Chiribiri is active in research focused on cardiac imaging, with more than 140 peer-reviewed publications, several book chapters, and several ongoing large research grants. He regularly lectures both nationally and internationally. His expertise includes all the clinical applications of cardiovascular MRI, including stress MRI and pacemaker scans.
