After graduating from St. George’s Hospital Medical School in 2005, Dr Palak Trivedi completed foundation training in Kent, Surrey, and Sussex before undertaking specialist training in internal medicine and gastroenterology in the Oxford Deanery. He then embarked on award-winning doctoral research at the National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) in Birmingham, focusing on the role of gut inflammation in autoimmune liver disease. His research achievements include accolades for contributions to liver medicine and transplantation.
Dr Trivedi is a highly respected consultant in liver medicine (hepatology), gastroenterology, and transplant medicine. With expertise in a wide range of liver and gastrointestinal conditions, he specialises in autoimmune liver diseases such as primary biliary cholangitis (PBC) and primary sclerosing cholangitis (PSC), fatty liver disease, genetic liver disorders, and inflammatory bowel disease.
