Dr Osman Najam is a Consultant Cardiologist with expertise in both general and interventional cardiology. He trained at leading London centres including King’s College Hospital, St George’s Hospital and St Thomas’ Hospital, and completed a PhD at the UCL Hatter Cardiovascular Institute.
Dr Najam specialises in the assessment and management of chest pain, coronary artery disease, palpitations, cardiovascular risk factors, and preventative cardiology. His procedural expertise includes coronary angiography and coronary angioplasty, including complex coronary intervention.
Alongside his clinical work, Dr Najam has a strong interest in digital innovation and the use of emerging technologies to improve patient care and clinical pathways. He also serves as a member of the NICE Medical Technologies Advisory Committee, contributing to the national evaluation of emerging healthcare technologies within the NHS.
Dr Najam is committed to providing clear, patient-centred care and works closely with colleagues across specialties to deliver high-quality cardiovascular care. He sees private patients at London Bridge Hospital as part of his wider practice across London, Kent and Surrey.
