Mrs. Hannah Watkinson is a Biomechanical Podiatrist with extensive experience caring for patients with musculoskeletal overuse, trauma, and neurological injuries. After qualifying in Podiatry from Brighton University in 2004, she worked for the NHS for several years. In 2007, she was appointed by the Ministry of Defence to provide and establish Musculoskeletal Podiatry clinics at the internationally renowned Defence Medical Rehabilitation Centre at Headley Court, a Tri-Service Centre offering a range of rehabilitation treatments for chronic overuse musculoskeletal injuries and complex injuries sustained during conflicts. She served as the Clinical Lead Senior Podiatrist at the centre, specializing in gait and lower limb biomechanical assessments. In 2011, she began working in private clinics across Surrey and Buckinghamshire, and in 2014, she became Director of Frontline Podiatry. Mrs. Watkinson provides a screening service for Kent and Middlesex County Cricket Club Academies and treats national and international athletes. She regularly lectures on gait analysis, podiatric trauma, and sports medicine to podiatrists and other healthcare professionals. Outside of work, Mrs. Watkinson is a keen sportswoman and plays for Buckingham Ladies RFC at a county level. Her expertise includes biomechanical assessment, gait analysis, team screening, podiatric biomechanics, lower limb overuse injuries and trauma, running re-education, exercise-induced leg pain (shin pain), complex foot trauma leading to disability, foot drop and neurological gait problems, lateral ankle instability, and leg length discrepancies.
