General Medicine
I care for patients with a wide variety of acute and general medical conditions, with a particular focus on cases involving diagnostic uncertainty and individuals dealing with multiple health issues and numerous medications (polypharmacy). As a Clinical Pharmacologist, I work alongside patients to assess their medications—balancing the expected benefits against possible side effects—and consider the full range of available treatment options.
Hypertension, Cholesterol and Cardiovascular Risk
I serve as the clinical lead for the Hypertension and Cardiovascular Risk Clinic at University College London Hospital, where I bring extensive expertise in evaluating and treating patients with complex forms of high blood pressure. This includes cases such as early-onset, post-pregnancy, post-stroke or heart attack, treatment-resistant, perioperative, and secondary hypertension (arising from other medical conditions). I also assist patients who experience side effects from blood pressure medications and address additional cardiovascular risk factors like elevated cholesterol levels.
