Linda Ferrari is a colorectal surgeon with specialist interests in proctology, pelvic floor pathology, Hydradenitis Supparativa and inflammatory bowel disease. She completed her surgical training in Italy, then moved to St Mark’s Hospital and University of Washington Medical Center for further colorectal fellowships.

Her research interests include perianal fistula for which she has completed a PhD thesis on the imaging and outcomes of perianal fistula treatment. Current research interests include addressing inequalities in healthcare.

Linda is an active committee member for the pelvic floor consortium section of the American society of colorectal surgeons for which she has contributed to international guidelines on the management of pelvic floor disorders. She is also a member of the international continence society. Linda continues to publish in peer reviewed articles and teach regularly on national and international platforms.
