Dr Konstantinos Vakalis is Consultant Cardiologist working in the NHS (Queen Elizabeth Hospital and Harefield Hospital) and in the private sector. He was trained in cardiology in Greece and in the UK and his main interests include imaging and heart failure.

He is considered an expert in the field of stress echocardiography having developed and running innovative protocols. He is the heart failure lead at Queen Elizabeth Hospital and coordinates the heart failure and the echo MDT. He has been awarded the honorary title of Fellow of the European Cardiology Society and of the European Association of Cardiovascular Imaging.

He can treat and follow up patients with a wide variety of cardiological problems, such as coronary artery disease, heart failure, valvulopathies, hypertension, and hyperlipidaemia.
