About
Dr. Elsie Mensah has been a consultant urological surgeon at Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust and Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust since August 2020. As part of the bladder and upper tract urothelial cancer team, Dr. Mensah also performs a wide range of general urological procedures. These include local anaesthetic transperineal prostate biopsy, ureteroscopy and laser stone fragmentation, and bladder outflow surgery.
Dr. Mensah completed her higher surgical and urological training under the London and South East Postgraduate Medical and Dental Education (formerly London Deanery). She graduated from King's College London School of Medicine in 2007. Her specialist interests include bladder cancer, prostate cancer, lower urinary tract symptoms, and bladder outflow surgery, as well as cancer diagnostics.
With her expertise and dedication, Dr. Mensah is committed to providing exceptional care and advancing the field of urology.
