Dr Sudeep Tanwar qualified from Guy's and St Thomas' Hospital Medical School in 2001 and completed his specialist training in Gastroenterology and Hepatology in London. He trained at several internationally renowned centres of excellence including University College Hospital, St Mary's Hospital, King's College Hospital and Royal Free Hospital. He is an accredited Gastroenterologist and Hepatologist with expertise in advanced endoscopy and hepatobiliary medicine.
Dr Tanwar is the Endoscopy Clinical Lead at Barts Health NHS Trust, based at Whipps Cross University Hospital, and is also an Honorary Associate Professor at the UCL Institute for Liver and Digestive Health.
He has published extensively in peer-reviewed international journals and textbooks, with research interests spanning diagnostic testing, hepatopancreatobiliary medicine, inflammatory bowel disease, anaemia and gastrointestinal malignancy.
