Steven Mann

Dr Steven Mann is a Consultant Gastroenterologist and is based at Barnet Hospital in London and also works in private practice. He qualified in 1989 from The University of Manchester and following postgraduate training in North London hospitals, including research at St Mark’s Hospital, where he focused onthe immunology of Crohn's disease for almost three years. he was appointed to his current position in 2003. His NHS practice work incorporates in and out-patients, endoscopy and emergency medicine. Dr Mann is Trust Lead for clinical nutrition and also for Inflammatory Bowel Diseases and is the Endoscopy Training Lead. He is also focused on education and is Supervisor for a number of postgraduate trainees.

He is the Trust Lead for Clinical Nutrition, Clinical Lead for Inflammatory Bowel Diseases, and Endoscopy Training Lead. He also has a large teaching and training commitment being an Educational Supervisor for a number of postgraduate trainees. His professional memberships include the Royal College of Physicians, the British Society of Gastroenterology, the American Gastroenterology Association and the European Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy.
