Dr. Stefano Palmisani is a highly experienced Consultant in Pain Medicine and Neuromodulation, with expertise in minimally invasive spinal interventions. He provides private consultations at the Wellington and London Bridge Hospital, where he works with patients to develop effective pain management strategies.
Dr. Palmisani earned his primary medical qualification at the University of Rome La Sapienza and completed his specialist training in Anesthesia at Sant Andrea University Hospital. He then went on to complete his higher training at the Valencia General Hospital in Spain and Guy's and St Thomas' Hospital in the UK, where he gained extensive knowledge and experience in pain medicine.
In 2011, Dr. Palmisani was appointed Consultant at Guy's and St Thomas Hospital, where he joined one of the busiest neuromodulation teams in the UK. He played a pivotal role in establishing and developing the current endoscopic pain interventions service at the hospital, which includes endoscopic rhizolysis, facet joints, and sacroiliac joints.
Dr. Palmisani is also part of a multidisciplinary team that manages patients with complex facial and head conditions, including headaches and facial pains. Additionally, he co-leads the neuromodulation clinic for functional urology, male pelvic pain, and bladder pain.
With his extensive experience and expertise in pain management and neuromodulation, Dr. Palmisani is well-equipped to provide effective and personalized care to his patients.
