Dr Rachael Morris-Jones is a Dermatology Consultant at Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust in London, and undertakes private practice at London Bridge Hospital, One Welbeck Skin Health & Allergy and 55 Harley Street. She specialises in General Adult and Paediatric Dermatology, and is highly respected both nationally and internationally in the field of Dermatology.
Prior to taking up her role at Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust, she led the Paediatric Dermatology service and the Cutaneous Infection Clinic at King's College Hospital. With her main specialist areas of interest in moles and skin cancer, Dr Morris-Jones offers fast track, 2-week wait clinics, including skin cancer screening clinics, and attends the hospital skin cancer multidisciplinary team. She has extensive experience in the diagnosis and management of inflammatory skin disease, including eczema (atopic dermatitis)/psoriasis, and in the management of acne in all age groups.
Dr Morris-Jones has over 100 publications in peer-reviewed journals and has written chapters in several book, including Rook's Textbook of Dermatology and the Handbook of Systemic Drug Treatment in Dermatology). She is the author of a range of books including the highly successful and acclaimed ABC of Dermatology (7th edition), 100 Cases in Dermatology and, more recently, Dermatologist Tested (a myth-busting book for the general public that addresses common skin complaints.
