Dr Maadh Aldouri

Dr Maadh Aldouri is a highly experienced Consultant Haematologist with over 40 years' experience in the diagnosis and management of blood disorders. Throughout his distinguished career, he has held senior NHS positions at West Kent hospitals and King's College Hospital, developing extensive expertise in both clinical haematology and laboratory medicine. He served as Head of Haematology Services at Medway Maritime Hospital from 1999 to 2022 and maintained regular clinical sessions at King's College Hospital. Since December 2024, he has continued his NHS practice at Maidstone Hospital alongside his private work across leading independent hospitals.

Dr Aldouri specialises in the management of a wide range of haematological conditions, including blood cancers such as lymphoma and myeloma, anaemia, abnormal white blood cell and platelet disorders, and thrombotic conditions. He is highly experienced in the investigation and diagnosis of complex haematological diseases and performs bone marrow examinations for both diagnostic and follow-up purposes. He also supervises and prescribes chemotherapy treatments, working closely with specialist multidisciplinary teams to ensure patients receive personalised, evidence-based care.

In addition to his extensive clinical expertise, Dr Aldouri has held several senior leadership positions, including Lead Haematology Clinician, Chemotherapy Lead, and Director of Cancer Services. He has significant experience in the supervision of haematology laboratories and blood transfusion services and is widely recognised for his contribution to the development of cancer and haematology services. His practice also includes therapeutic venesection for the management of polycythaemia and iron overload disorders such as hereditary haemochromatosis, providing patients with comprehensive care across the full spectrum of benign and malignant blood disorders.
