Irfan Ahmed is a consultant specializing in minimally invasive interventional radiology procedures. In both the public and private sectors, Dr. Ahmed performs a wide variety of procedures, including central venous access device placement such as implanted port-a-caths, peripheral and visceral arterial angioplasty and stenting, varicocoele embolisation, prostate embolisation, fistuloplasty, gastro-intestinal, urological and biliary interventions, and image-guided biopsy and drainage procedures. He has a special interest in uterine artery embolisation for fibroids and adenomyosis and also undertakes ultrasound scanning, CT, and MRI imaging.
