Dr Dipa Jayaseelan is a Consultant Neurologist at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery and West Hertfordshire NHS Trust. Dr Jayaseelan will treat various general and acute neurology patients. Dr Jayaseelan also treats complex conditions such as channelopathies and inherited muscular diseases.
Dr Jayaseelan holds an honorary consulting position at Great Ormond Street Hospital where she treats paediatric patients as well as an additional honorary position lecturing at UCL Institute of Neurology. Alongside clinical work, Dr Jayaseelan teaches extensively at undergraduate and postgraduate level and is a PhD and educational supervisor.
Dr Jayaseelan graduated with a distinction in her clinical practice from the University of Cambridge and University College London. During her medical and neurology training, Dr Jayaseelan was split between key London teaching hospitals, Royal Free Hospital, Hammersmith Hospital, and the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery.
In 2009, Dr Jayaseelan received the MRC clinical research training fellowship and completed a PhD in muscle channelopathies at the UCL Institute of Neurology.
