Dr Vinayan is a Consultant Clinical Oncologist who focuses on non-surgical treatments for adult brain tumours, including both primary and secondary disease, as well as breast cancer and cancers of unknown origin. His practice centres on delivering advanced medical oncology and radiotherapy care, using chemotherapy alongside newer targeted treatments and immunotherapy, combined with sophisticated radiotherapy approaches.
He provides modern radiation techniques such as intensity modulated radiotherapy, image guided radiotherapy, and stereotactic radiotherapy, tailoring treatment plans to the individual needs of each patient. Dr Vinayan completed his specialist oncology training in London across several major cancer centres, including Mount Vernon Cancer Centre, Imperial College NHS Trust and St Bartholomew’s Hospital.
Alongside his clinical work, Dr Vinayan undertook a research fellowship examining anti-angiogenic therapies and methods for evaluating treatment response, including dynamic contrast-enhanced MRI and emerging imaging strategies. His ongoing clinical interests span systemic cancer therapies and advanced radiotherapy for brain and central nervous system tumours, breast cancer, and cancers of unknown primary, with a strong emphasis on integrating novel treatments into personalised care.
