Dr Ana Borges

Dr Ana Borges is a UK-trained, fully accredited Consultant Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon. She is registered with the General Medical Council (GMC) for Plastic Surgery and is a member of the British Association of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons (BAPRAS) and the British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (BAAPS). She graduated from the prestigious Guy’s, King’s and St Thomas’ School of Medicine in 2010, before completing higher surgical training in London’s Pan-Thames Deanery, a Microsurgical Breast Fellowship at the Queen Victoria Hospital, East Grinstead, a Lower Limb Reconstruction Fellowship at the Royal Sussex County Hospital, and an Aesthetic Fellowship at the McIndoe Centre, East Grinstead.

Her NHS practice is based at Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust, where she sub-specialises in breast reconstruction following cancer — with a particular focus on microsurgical autologous reconstruction using a patient’s own tissue, alongside breast asymmetry correction and implant revision. She also supports the Major Trauma Centre for South East London and Kent at King’s College Hospital, assessing and reconstructing complex trauma to limbs and trunk. In private practice, that same rigour carries through to aesthetic breast surgery and body contouring — care planned around your circumstances, not a standard template.
