Why wait for a GP appointment?

Many people find it difficult to fit a doctor’s appointment into their busy lifestyles. HCA Healthcare UK’s Primary Care services provide same-day or next-day GP appointments in clinics across London, Birmingham, Greater Manchester and Glasgow.

We can also offer appointment times further in advance if you would prefer. Importantly, anybody can see one of our private GPs, who all practice to the highest clinical standard.

How much does a private GP appointment cost?

The usual length of an appointment with one of our private GPs is 15 minutes, which starts at £75. The £75 cost covers your consultation and, if necessary, a referral to a specialist.

Should you need longer, the price of an appointment will be as follows:

  • 30-minute consultation, from £150
  • 45-minute consultation, from £225
  • 60-minute consultation, from £300

There is no limit to the number of conditions or concerns which you can raise within this time.

Diagnostic tests or investigations such as X-rays, MRIs or an ultrasound will incur an extra cost and the price will depend on the investigation. Any extra cost will be confirmed prior to any tests or investigations taking place, and you will have the choice whether to continue.
