Coronavirus update

As announced by NHS England on 21 March, the independent hospitals sector is joining the national response to Covid-19. We are proud to be able to assist the NHS in this way - uniting across the healthcare sector has never been so important for patients.

To help provide much needed capacity for the NHS, we will be providing care to NHS patients whose care and clinical needs are considered time-critical. As the pressure on the NHS evolves and builds, so too will the nature of the support we provide. As part of this we will reducing the private care we are able to offer at this time.

What this means for me?

Your consultant will be in touch with you to advise you of any impact this will have on your care.

For your safety and in order to ensure we are able to support those time-critical patients, consultants have been asked to postpone any treatment that safely can be or that, because of coronavirus, is not clinically advised at this time.

Care will continue as normal for inpatients who we are already treating and patients who are already on treatment pathways where there is a clinical need to do so.We understand that a delay to treatment may be difficult news and we apologise for any disappointment this may cause.

Keeping you updated

As the situation with coronavirus (Covid-19) continues to develop we will be ensuring these pages are kept up-to-date with advice regarding:
