About

Prof. Viktoria Eleftheriadou is a Consultant Dermatologist and the Lead for the Vitiligo Clinic and Research at Walsall Healthcare and The Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trusts, where she provides expert care for both adult and pediatric patients. In her role, she treats a wide range of skin conditions, including eczema, psoriasis, skin cancer, acne, and various rashes, both within the NHS and in private practice.

Her dermatology training was completed across the East and West Midlands, and she holds a PhD in clinical dermatology from the University of Nottingham, UK, with a focus on evidence-based methodologies, clinical trials, vitiligo, and phototherapy. Her PhD was funded by the National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR).

Since 2010, Prof. Eleftheriadou has regularly presented her research at national and international conferences. She currently leads multiple national and international initiatives and serves as an Honorary Associate Professor at the College of Medical and Dental Sciences, University of Birmingham. Her contributions to the field have earned her several prestigious awards from organisations such as the European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology (EADV), the British Association of Dermatologists (BAD), and the American Academy of Dermatology (AAD).

A Section Editor for the *British Journal of Dermatology*, one of the top three dermatology journals globally, Prof. Eleftheriadou has authored over 100 academic publications in leading scientific journals, including *The Lancet*, *British Journal of Dermatology*, and *The Journal of the American Medical Association* (JAMA). She has delivered lectures and presentations at medical conferences around the world for the past 15 years.

Prof. Eleftheriadou is renowned for her expertise in treating a broad spectrum of dermatological conditions in patients of all ages. In both her NHS and private practices, she is widely respected for her thorough and compassionate approach to managing both common and complex skin conditions.
